I see my counselling role as fostering a safe and confidential therapeutic space to give you the opportunity to use your strength and move forward. In concrete terms, your counselling care plan may include working towards attaining a better self-understanding, building a care team, incorporating new care strategies, supporting healthy connections with others, etc. Trusting an impartial, non-judgmental professional to get perspective and new tools to address life’s challenges is an opportunity to find your strengths.

I work primarily with people in chronic pain and women in any stage of their menopause transition. People sometimes get stuck in behaviour patterns that keep them from moving forward. Identifying and understanding feelings and their roots can shed new light on a challenging situation and knowing about the available options is essential to making healthy choices. I believe in the resiliency and ability of people to solve their own issues.
